Hey you guys,
Luke Newcomer with the Newcomer Group.
This week I stopped by 210 St George Street, Unit 34 to give you a private property tour. If you want to really experience this place see the video blow, but I cannot stop telling people about this unit.
An offer was recently accepted, but the experience inside and out could not be kept to myself. I know you guys are going to love this just as much as I did.
You can see everything historic about downtown St. Augustine…
I started my tour on the shared deck space, with hands down the best view you can find of downtown St. Augustine. The theme of this property is walkable. You’ve got views of The Treasury, Flagler College, and Anastasia Island. You can see the Intracoastal Waterway, The Bridge of Lions. You can see everything historic about downtown St. Augustine from this deck.
I headed to the sidewalk to give the full experience of entering the Lions Condo, which was originally built in the 1880’s and is really as historic as it gets.
This condo is located on St. George Street and the theme is walkable, urban, and historic, it’s a total vibe. There are historic brick roads everywhere. The Kookaburra is right around the corner. And to my right was the access point.
You come right in off the street, to a lobby and the elevator. They gave me a little key fob you’d use to check in, and I was immediately taken by the character in this place, from the floor to the beautiful detailed ceilings. And that’s just the entrance.
Then I got in the elevator and it took me to the third floor and really everything about this building is blowing my mind.
Historic charm outside with modern finishes inside.
Unit 34 is just under a thousand square feet of perfectly utilized square footage. I started at the far end of the condo’s open concept kitchen and dining room to just look at the views. Again, The Bridge of Lions, The Treasury, you can see cedar roofs. Historic charm outside with modern finishes inside.
The kitchen’s been remodeled with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and marble backsplash with shiplap for the accent. Every appliance is updated, you’ve got a pot filler, and a huge fridge. There’s really great bar seating and that follows perfectly into a side room. Call it a butlers pantry, or a coffee bar, or a wet bar, you’ve got a sink set into butchers block and beautiful cabinetry. It’s done in blue and white with more of the shiplap from the kitchen.
There was a half bathroom in the hall and then I headed straight back to the bedroom. The had the bedroom setup so that you’d wake up to killer views of all of downtown. I mean you’re just waking up in the heart of exactly where you want to be. There was a great amount of closet space.
Both the full bath and the half bath had travertine flooring, and there was this beautiful engineered hardwood throughout.
Folks the address is 210 St. George Street and again I urge you to take a look at the video for the stunning views and an interior where everything’s been accounted for. This was hands down one of the most exclusive condos that had come to market in a very long time.
This unit may be off the market, but if you’re looking to buy or sell in St. Augustine, give the Newcomer Group a call.
